The 30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Stars, launched by ThomasNet and the Institute for Supply Management, aims to highlight future leaders in procurement and supply chain management with the goal of inspiring more young professionals to fill the talent gap in the industry. Croasdale shared, “Millennials tend to be criticized for our dependence on technology but I’m proud to be a part of a generation with a mindset to take advantage of technology to increase efficiency. Each generation has unique strengths, whether that’s a focus on technology, varying communication styles, or approaches to problem solving. I’m happy to be a part of an organization that not only promotes that diversity, but harnesses it to deliver better results for our clients.”
Croasdale, Source One’s Strategic Sourcing and MRO Category Expert, makes the list of future procurement leaders for going above and beyond to deliver an innovative preferred vendor program for a growing client. Through uncanny stakeholder engagement and collaboration, Croasdale implemented a program that centralized the spend, simplified processes, and delivered significant savings. The new program allowed buyers to select preferred suppliers based on location / distance to the job site, saving the company over a million dollars by negotiating best-in-class rates and cutting transportation costs.
Along with additional 30 Under 30 Supply Chain Stars, Croasdale will attend ISM2016 this May in Indianapolis.
