Spend Management Specialists Welcome Innovators to ExecIn

1/30 – Leading Consultants Host Procurement Executive Forum

Source One Sponsors the ExecIn Forum, a Private ISM2019 Event for Supply Chain Executives

Pioneering Consultants Sponsor Executive Forum

Willow Grove, PA (January 30, 2019) – Source One’s innovative Procurement services team is once again collaborating with the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) to host the ExecIn Forum. A private component of ISM2019, the sub-conference provides executive-level attendees with two days of additional insights and networking opportunities.

The most anticipated Supply Management event of the year, ISM2019 will take place from April 7-10 in Houston, Texas.  Alongside thousands of professionals representing a variety of industries, ISM2019 welcomes former Hewlett Packard CEO, Carly Fiorina and former Federal Reserve Chairperson, Janet Yellen as keynote speakers.

Source One has designed ExecIn as an exclusive, high-impact event for executive-level Supply Chain professionals. In addition to private keynotes from Fiorina and Yellin, it promises to feature spirited debate and discussion around some of today’s most pressing topics.

“ISM2019 will feature the fourth iteration of ExecIn,” says Source One’s VP of Operations, William Dorn. “In the past, ExecIn has inspired peers and competitors alike to share common pain points and work toward solutions to issues like the ever-present talent gap. If this year’s guest list and agenda are any indication, we should enjoy another thought-provoking and collaborative event.”

While ISM2019 and ExecIn’s agendas are still under construction, the leaders in spend management believe both events should exceed expectations. Topics of discussion will include the promise of emerging Procurement solutions, the ongoing battle to break down silos between business units, and the importance of storytelling for stakeholder engagement. “I’m especially interested” says Dorn, “in discussing the benefit of ‘storytelling.’ In spite of Procurement’s decade-long evolution, the function still struggles to win buy-in and inspire its peers. We believe that telling a story rather than simply presenting data could make the difference in elevating the function. I’m excited to see if this year’s ExecIn attendees agree.”

The Source One team discuss many of these issues in their recent whitepaper: Procurement in 2019.  All ISM2019 attendees are encouraged to visit Booth #438 to discuss Source One’s unique approach to driving the Procurement function forward.
