New Procurement Technology Consulting Offering from Source One

4/24 – Procurement Leaders Unveil Technology Advisory Services

Source One's Procurement and Strategic Sourcing Experts to Establish New Technology Advisory Practice to Supplement their Service Offering

Advisory Services for Procurement Technology

Willow Grove, PA (April 24, 2018) – The spend management team at Source One Management Services is broadening its suite of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing services by launching a new Technology Advisory practice. This new offering diversifies the firm’s offering and extends their efforts to align Procurement’s people, process, and technology.

Since 1992, Source One’s team of consultants has leveraged technology to enable its spend management efforts, supported clients in identifying procurement solutions, and developed eSourcing and Spend Analytics tools of their own. Thanks to this new offering, they are closer than ever to providing a comprehensive, end-to-end solution for refining Procurement and helping its practitioners reach their full potential.

“The Procurement technology landscape is constantly evolving,”  says VP of Operations, William Dorn.  “Even companies with top-notch Procurement teams can find it challenging to navigate the market and make truly strategic decisions. Faced with countless options and armed with insufficient resources, organizations easily grow overwhelmed.”

Leveraging years of experience supporting Procurement technology initiatives, Director Anthony Mignona will lead the new practice.  He remarks, “Constant shifts are making the Procurement Technology market even more complicated. Increasingly, software developers are focusing on their core competencies while steering away from the consultative space. This leaves Procurement teams to manage the implementation process on their own. Our aim is for the Technology Advisory offering to close this gap. We’ll not only enable clients to select the right tools, but also support them in implementing these technologies, developing the necessary training programs, and establishing a culture of continuous improvement.”

Today, Source One will join its peers in supply management at JAGGAER’s REV2018 conference. Focused on promoting innovation, acceleration, and education in Procurement, the three-day event will provide Source One’s cost reduction team with the ideal platform to introduce their new service offering while absorbing insights from across the industry. Additionally, Associate Director and Procurement Transformation Practice Lead Jennifer Ulrich will discuss strategies for employing Procurement technology in her presentation, Maximizing Fuel Efficiency.
